It’s a Covey tenant that more than 60 dealers lived last week in Dallas at Sean V. Bradley’s Internet Sales 20 Group. Sean’s team put together an intense and information-filled couple of days, aimed at helping dealers improve their Internet sales divisions. I was impressed with the depth of informative subject matter presented, as well as with the true desire amongst attendees to learn how to be quite simply…better.
The subject matter covered everything from sales process to CRM, as well as case studies from real dealerships, shared best practices, trade-ins, social media, data and analytics, and more. The presenters (including myself – see below for highlights from my session on setting new car pricing and the evolution of the online consumer) stayed true to the message of providing informative content and leaving the hard sell sales pitch at home. I applaud everyone involved with this new style of event – from my fellow presenters, to Sean and his team, and most of all the dealers who were there to learn.
The Internet Sales 20 Group was a great reminder of how our industry is constantly changing, and how the rapid pace at which things move serves to keep the best on their toes, while leaving the rest behind. The talent that is currently at these top dealerships will surely serve their owners well in their pursuit of excellence and, of course, profitability. If you’re looking for ways to improve your Internet sales operations, I can highly recommend seeking out Sean V. Bradley and his team at the Internet Sales 20 Group. I look forward to being a part of future events.
